While the horde landed on Jackson and broke through the walls that protect the city, Abby revealed that she was the doctor of the doctor who killed Joel to save Ellie. She then brutally started beating him before Ellie appeared. While Ellie was helpless to prevent Abby Joel from stabbing deadly, she promised to avenge the death of her surrogate mother.
