The Hive Studio opens the Greek location with Animasyros

Renowned Animation Powerhouse The Hive Studio, best known for co-producing Tal Kantor’s Oscar-nominated short “letter to a pig”, has officially launched a new European outpost in Greece. The Hive Greece, founded in collaboration with Anmasyros Productions in Athens, aims to bring together the southern Mediterranean Talent and to improve the co-productions of Cross-European animation.

The cooperation marks a strategic step to strengthen the international presence of the Greek animation industry. Animasyros Productions, known for organizing Greece’s largest animation film festival, Animasyros International Animation Festival, shares the vision of the HIVE for cultivating creative synergy and innovation in telling stories.

The Hive Studio has already worked with Animasyros on various remarkable projects, including the short film “P”, directed by Stelios Koupetoris and co-produced with the Greek film center. The film recently won the Asifa-Hellas Award for the best scenario and could be seen at several international festivals.
