‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off’ cuts Scott Mills episode

Channel 4 has withdrawn the final episode of “The Great Celebrity Bake Off” because it features former BBC DJ Scott Mills.
“After carefully considering the circumstances, we have made the decision not to air the final episode of the 2026 series ‘The Great Celebrity Bake Off’ for Stand Up to Cancer, starring Scott Mills,” a spokesperson for the channel said. “We recognize the seriousness of the allegations made against Scott and do not believe it would be appropriate to air the episode at this time. An alternate episode of ‘Celebrity GBBO’ will air in its place.”
Mills was fired from the BBC last week after it emerged he was once investigated for a historic sex offense involving a teenage boy in 2017. No charges were laid and the investigation was dropped.
He was hired in 2025 to take over Zoe Ball’s “The Big Breakfast Show” on Radio 1. The BBC confirmed after his dismissal that they were aware of the investigation before he was hired, but said “new information” had come to light that made his continued employment untenable.
Celebrities joining Mills in the celebrity spin-off included JoJo Siwa, Sugababes singer Mutya Buena and actors Rose Ayling-Ellis and Ambika Mod.
