THE FIRST BUDDHA-BAR HOTEL IN THE REGION AND FLOATING HOMES BY BUDDHA-BAR | News

Buddha-Bar Real Estate Development, a joint venture that will be exclusively managed and represented by Yieldhaüs, is pleased to unveil the highly anticipated design of the region’s first-ever Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences By Buddha-Bar on Dubai’s World Islands. This new landmark brings the world-renowned lifestyle brand to the Middle East in a completely original format, combining island living with immersive design and signature Buddha-Bar experiences never before seen in the region – featuring the Buddha-Bar Hotel, Floating Residences By Buddha-Bar and the famous Buddha-Bar Beach.

For the first time, the legendary Buddha-Bar concept is transported from the coast to an island setting, bringing the signature blend of music, atmosphere and design to the serene seascape of The World Islands.

The Buddha Bar Hotel
The region’s first Buddha-Bar Hotel will offer 162 keys, with one entire floor dedicated to branded residences, and will reflect the brand’s iconic DNA through an artful blend of Far Eastern influences and sleek, modern design. It transports guests to a universe colored by deep red, gold, Asian colonial motifs and a sensual, lounge-inspired atmosphere adorned with chandeliers and statues. Travelers can anticipate curated soundscapes and globally inspired culinary experiences, infused with flavors from the Pacific Rim, served in an environment where design, gastronomy and music converge. The on-site spa offers a mix of oriental-inspired rituals and modern treatments, all designed to encourage true relaxation.

Floating homes at Buddha-Bar
Outside the hotel, a collection of 24 adjacent floating homes will glide above the water’s surface, bringing together advanced hydraulic engineering and marine life amid the serene beauty of the surrounding coral-rich environment. Each residence will span three different levels over an area of 4,000 m² for up to eight guests and features a sun-drenched roof terrace with jacuzzi and dining room; a sea-level living space with floor-to-ceiling windows, a king-size hammock over the water and a private terrace; and an underwater two-bedroom level surrounded by coral gardens.

Designed as the world’s first collection of floating homes under the Buddha-Bar brand, each of the units will be treated as a unique retreat rather than one among many. Materials and finishes reflect quiet opulence: optional Bentley Home furnishings, tactile wood, veined stone and maritime glass, chosen to let the surrounding seascape remain the hero. Residences are not just places to live, but also curated experiences.

Buddha Bar Beach
Buddha-Bar Beach will be the social epicenter of The World Islands – a destination where sunrise, sunset and sunset blend seamlessly. Operated as an all-day restaurant, lounge and beach club concept, it offers sunrise yoga sessions, beachside brunches and sunset sets by world-class DJs that evolve into late-night beach parties under the stars.

The venue combines barefoot luxury with Mediterranean chic: a landscaped pool and an adults-only infinity pool, sunken lounge chairs, private cabanas, manicured event lawns and direct beach access. During the day, guests can relax with homemade cocktails and delicious seafood overlooking the Gulf; In the evening the setting changes into an attractive restaurant, lounge and beach club where music and mixology determine the rhythm. Guests will experience a lifestyle of effortless privacy, with 24-hour room service, climate-controlled outdoor spaces and direct access to coral reefs via floating piers connecting the homes to nearby islands.
“Buddha-Bar Hotel and Floating Residences on The World Islands is a game changer for our brand,” said Nabil Souhail, vice president of Buddha-Bar International. “This project is a fusion of our DNA – music, atmosphere and magic – with next-level hospitality design. Guests will be transported to a new dimension of sensory luxury in a very unique destination.”
