‘The’ Burbs’ series with in the lead role Keke Palmer adds five to cast
“The ‘Burbs’ TV series Adjustment at Peacock has cast five series of regulars, Variety has learned.
Jack Whitehall (“Jungle Cruise”, “The Afterparty 2”), Julia Duffy (“Palm Royale,” “Newhart”), Paula Pell (“Girls5eva,” “Saturday Night Live”), Mark Proksch (“What we do in The Shadows, “” The Office “), and Kapil Talwalkar (” Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist “,” Night Court “) are all cast in the Serieversie of the Dark Comedy from 1989 with the same name.
Moreover, Nzingha Stewart (“Cross”, “Daisy Jones and the Six”) went on board as an executive producer and he will direct the first episode.

The official log line for the show states: ‘Set in the current suburb,’ the ‘Burbs’ follows a young couple (Palmer, Whitehall) who reluctantly moved to the husband’s house. Their world is aware when a new neighbor moves across the street and brings old secrets from the dead -end road to the light, and new deadly threats are crushing the illusion of their quiet small neighborhood. “
Celeste Hughey will adjust the film for television and executive products. Palmer will produce Executive in addition to the leading role. Seth Macfarlane exporting produces under his vague door banner together with Erica Huggins and Aimee Carlson. Brian Grazer Executive produces via Imagine Entertainment together with Kristen Zolner and Natalie Berkus, with Rachel Shukert also executive.
