The brutal follow -up of Prince William leaked

While insiders say that his regime will be “an evolution” and not a “revolution,” they emphasize that William is determined to stamp his own identity on the crown.

“He will approach it on his own conditions – and sincerely,” said an old friend. “He challenges the status quo and expects real results from the institution. For him it’s all about a meaningful impact.”

The core of William’s approach is a practical assessment of the structure and expenditure of the monarchy.

A source close to him said that he is planning to ‘look under each stone’, including investigating the sovereign subsidy funded by the taxpayer, which is currently £ 86.3 million annually.

Buckingham Palace will probably remain the headquarters, although William is not going to live there – just like his father Charles, 76.

The key to this reform is the slimming of the working royal selection.

The Duke of Kent, 89, Princess Anne, 74, and the Hertog and Duchess of Gloucester, 80 and 79 respectively, are expected to reduce public tasks in the coming years.

In their place, William wants to stimulate the profiles of Edward, 61, and Sophie, 60, the Hertog and Duchess of Edinburgh.

“They are essential,” said a royal insider. “The incredible work they do must be seen more.”
