The Breathtaking Florida Riverfront Estate Features a $2 Million Backyard Designed by ‘Insane Pools’ Star Lucas Congdon

A sprawling riverfront estate in Naples is literally making waves in the Florida luxury market, not just for its $14.5 million price tag, but also for its breathtaking backyard.

The backyard was designed by Luke Congdonstar of the Animal Planet reality TV show ‘Insane Pools: Off the Deep End’.

The 3.29-acre property at 325 Cocohatchee Blvd. offers more than 7,000 square feet of living space and the kind of resort-style backyard, complete with a spa, waterfalls, fire pits and a water slide, that Congdon is known for.

The house itself was completed by Potter Homes in 2021 as a custom home and has had only one owner since construction. It came on the market at the end of February.

“The outdoor living space is truly one of the most remarkable aspects of the property,” says agent Jay Westerlund. “The backyard pool was an investment of more than $2 million by Lucas Congdon of Lucas Lagoons, creating a private resort-like environment.”

And “resort style” might be an understatement.

The centerpiece of the design is an award-winning custom pool and spa, complete with natural stone sourced from Chattanooga, TN.

The saltwater pool plunges to 2.5 meters and includes a dramatic waterfall, grotto and winding water slide. Fire bowls and tiki torches light up the space at night, while hidden speakers add music throughout the pool.

A propane fire pit, putting green and expansive lawn complete the outdoor space. The fully enclosed garden also features grass mats with integrated drainage, landscape lighting and an insect misting system, all essential for luxurious outdoor living in South West Florida.

Multiple indoor lounge areas feature wood ceilings, ceiling fans and a gas stone fireplace, while a pergola provides additional shaded seating.

The outdoor kitchen is equally impressive, anchored by an Alfresco grill and range hood and equipped with a large EEVO Hibachi grill, ice maker, sink and quartzite leather countertops.

The location on the river adds an extra appeal. The estate is located directly on the Cocohatchee River and features a private dock and pier with direct access to the Gulf.

Boaters will appreciate two boat lifts, two jet ski lifts and a covered boat dock, along with a lighted fish cleaning station. The surrounding waters are known for their excellent fishing; snook, tarpon and mullet can all be found nearby.

Inside, the house reflects a warm yet sophisticated architectural style that combines natural stone, exposed wooden beams and striking brick accents.

“Being built in 2021, the home features modern construction and high-quality finishes,” says Westerlund. “But a particularly unique feature is the double attached garages with capacity for up to ten vehicles.”

The sale also includes two single column vehicle lifts, making the space ideal for collectors or enthusiasts.

The home’s location in North Naples also puts some of the region’s best beaches and attractions within easy reach. Vanderbilt Beach and Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park are just a few miles away, and Naples Airport is about 10 miles from the property.

But it is the combination of land, luxurious design and access to water – both in the form of a resort-style pool and Gulf access – that truly sets the estate apart.

“Properties with more than 3 acres in Southwest Florida are extremely rare, and finding such an amount of land on a river with access to the Gulf is almost unheard of,” says Westerlund. “This is one of the most spectacular properties I have seen in my nearly two decades of selling luxury real estate.”
