The aftermath of the rebellion of player 456

It’s time to play one last time. Netflix released the first trailer for the third and final season of the Blockbuster Korean drama series “Squid Game”, which ended season 2 on a large cliffhanger. The seasons were filmed back-to-back and originally written as one long story arch.

After the rebellion of Seong Gi-Hun/Player 456 (Lee Jung-Jae) failed in the matches, which led to the death of his best friend, Jung-Bae (Lee Seo-Hwan), by the frontman (Lee Byung-Hun)-who had not been a fake player in the Game-het.

In a season 2 final split with VarietyMaker Hwang Dong-Hyuk teased that viewers “our character will meet Gi-Hun at a very critical intersection when we start the third season. Gi-Hun will not be the man he was in season 2.” He also drove the questions: “In which condition will Gi-Hun be in? And what will he choose? Will he continue with the mission? Will he give up or persist?”

After he was released worldwide in December, the season 2 of “Squid Game” Netflix’s most viewed series became in one week and is currently the third most viewed series of the streaming platform, just behind “Squid Game” season 1 and “Wednesday”. In addition to the most important actors, recurring cast members include Yim Si-Wan, Park Sung-Hoon, Jo Yu-Ri, Park Gyu-Young and Wi Ha-Joon, because the majority of the main alliance survived the rebellion.

“Squid Game” season 3 will release June 27 on Netflix. View the trailer below.
