The absence of Robin Roberts spark concern for the future on ‘GMA’ in the midst of Shakeup

Roberts and her wife, Amber Laign, went to Rwanda to celebrate 20 years as a few while doing incredible charity work.

Roberts cheered that the duo celebrated ‘young basketball players in Africa’ and how it was a ‘wonderful way for the two of us to celebrate 20 years like a few … It has certainly been an adventure!’

The Goa Festival 2025 united 320 young men and women from all over Africa “for a week of basketball, entertainment, culture, community and education.”

Laign, 50, flowed into her Birthday post: “20 years old, 20 countries, an incredible journey. Robin and I celebrated our 20th anniversary in a way that we will never forget-in Rwanda, with giants from Africa, surrounded by the energy, joy and spirit of young people from 20 African countries.”
