A happy and very rich fan is ready to walk away with baseball history … like the home plate Barry Bonds Starting after touching his 756th career home running, it ended up – and it is estimated to be sold for $ 100,000 !!
Bidding for the base – together with a signed ball from the ’07 game – both come with letters of authenticity signed by the former San Francisco Giants Slugger itself … and the package is currently open to bidding via bidding SCP auctions.
“This is the actual home plate of the San Francisco Giants and Washington National MLB competition on 7 August 2007, in AT&T Park, where I hit my 756th career home run in the competition, which Hank Aaron passes for the only possession of the first place on the All-time MLB Home Run Run Run.
“After the game, this home plate was removed from the park and given to me.”
In the event that you could not catch the game 18 years ago, Bonds touched the record -breaking Dinger Mike Bacsik. By the time he hung up the shoe plates at the end of the season ’07 … he finished home runs with 762 career.
Of course, the performance has an asterisk in the eyes of many fans … while bonds was linked to steroids. He admitted in 2003 to unconsciously use a cream and a clear substance that his trainer gave him that he thought there was flax seed oil and arthritis balm.
Bid will close on Saturday … with the current bid at $ 55k.
Good luck for the bidders !!
