The 5 Best New Shows to Watch This Weekend on Prime Video, HBO Max, and More (January 23-25)

Game of Thrones fans who have also read the author’s spin-off novellas George R. R. Martin has correctly predicted for years that the Stories about Dunk & Egg stories would make it live-action. A knight of the seven kingdoms Set 90 years before the original show, it centers on a low-born knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and the boy who wants to be his squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell).

Until recently, Dunk himself was a squire, and it is questionable whether his late master actually sworn him in as a knight. Dunk and Egg believe in the ideals behind knighthood, but not everyone believes that. Dunk soon finds himself in a very precarious position, and it will take more than just skill to survive after making a very powerful enemy.

A knight of the seven kingdoms is now streaming on HBO Max.
