Tendent hits the European deal with ADN for ‘Blades of the Guardians’

Chinese Streaming Gigant Tencent has concluded a deal with the French Animation Digital Network (ADN) for his Martial Arts Epic “Blades of the Guardians”, Variety has learned. The agreement gives ADN rights to the animation series on its subscription -Vod- and OTT platforms, which strengthens the slate of Premium global content.

“Blades of the Guardian” has been adapted from the Hit Chinese comic and follows the rental soldier Dao Ma while traversing the dangerous deserts of the western regions. Dao Ma is charged with an apparently simple escort mission to Chang’an, and quickly becomes entangled in imperial conspiracies, in which a chain of bloodshed, betrayal and destination unleashes.
Tencent Video remains a dominant player in the streaming market of China and offers a deep library with dramas, functions, variety shows, sports, documentaries and animation. With a growing portfolio of original animated content, the company increases co -productions with top studios around the world to develop projects with global attraction, at the same time that Chinese functions are starting to become popularity with the global audience at the Kassa.
