Teen Mom’s Catelynn Lowell will not be ‘quiet’ about Carly’s adoption
Teen motherS Catelynn Lowell Defends her decision to speak out about her daughter Carly, whom she placed for adoption in 2009.
“Before the communication was cut, I was told that Carly asked her parents:” Why can’t we get together anymore? Why can’t we get together for vacations? In her latest social media post, Lowell expressed her hope that Carly’s adoptive parents could share more information about what is going on.
“If B&T told me that it actually doesn’t want Carly, I would respect that with everyone!” She wrote. “And if her father and mother called and said it is what Carly wants, I would remain silent. You would not hear from me anymore about the situation! Because she is the most important at the end of the day. ‘
Baltierra, 33, and Lowell placed Carly, now 17, for adoption as a newborn in 2009, as documented in MTVs 16 and pregnant.
Although the couple initially agreed with an “open” adoption with Carly’s adoptive parents – which means they could receive photos and see their daughter personally once a year – things started to change when Carly got older.
