Taylor Swift emerged in London after being forced to cancel the Vienna leg Eras tour.

The pop star, 34, was photographed on Monday, August 12, seemingly channeling her inner Cher Horowitz in a plaid miniskirt and a custom jacket reminiscent of the iconic yellow skirt suit worn by Alicia Silverstone‘S No idea heroine. (Instead of yellow, however, Swift rocked a fall palette of red and earthy green. She completed her ensemble with green platform shoes and dark red lips.)

According to TMZ, Swift had thrown a party for tour staff at Annabel’s, a private members club in London’s Mayfair.

Swift has been on hiatus since her three concerts in Vienna on Wednesday, August 7, were canceled after police discovered and averted it a planned terrorist attack at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Officials took into custody two men, including a 19-year-old suspect who they said had ties to ISIS and had a stash of chemicals in his home. A third suspect was arrested on Friday, August 10.

The tour resumes on Thursday, August 15 with five shows at London’s Wembley Stadium.

“London plays host to a significant number of very high-profile events every year, providing millions of visitors with a safe and enjoyable experience,” said a spokesperson for the urban police of the city said in an Aug. 8 statement. “The Met is working closely with the site security teams and other partners to ensure appropriate security and policing plans are in place.”

Swift has previously been outspoken about her concerns about violence at her concerts, calling it her “biggest fear.” The ‘Anti-Hero’ singer has made efforts over the years to ensure the safety of her fans, including stopping her concerts mid-performance.

“After the Manchester Arena bombing and the shooting at the Vegas concert, I was terrified to go on tour this time because I didn’t know how we were going to keep three million fans safe for seven months,” she says. wrote in a 2019 essay for Elle. “[My team and I put] an enormous amount of planning, expense and effort [into] keeping my fans safe.”

Swift added at the time: “My fear of violence has persisted in my personal life. I wear military-grade QuikClot bandages, which are intended for gunshot or stab wounds.
