Sydney Sweeney Hopes her ticket to the Oscars next year while she takes on the role of Christy Martin In the coming biopic … and we have the first recordings from the film!
The photos and video that has been obtained exclusively by TMZ shows the actress playfully in a ring with the boxing legend himself.

The two seem to be going together while carefully piercing each other, Christy clearly stops the breakout “White Lotus”. It is unclear whether this moment will be in the film or whether it was only part of a promotional shoot, but it is cute anyway.
The photos, however, show Sweeney on the set that a white blazer rocks, in a house that screams the 90s while she is sitting evenly on the couch, an old-school Sports Illustrated Magazine with itself on the cover on a table nearby sit.
It is clear that these photos were taken during a crucial moment in the film when Christy’s fame is at a record high. Christy adorned the coverage of SI in 1996, and the moment is generally considered one of the things that put the boxing of women on the map.
The titll -free biopic was announced last May, with a form that includes Ben Foster” Merritt Wever, Jess Gabor And Ethan Embry. Filming packed in November 2024.
Not a word about a release date yet, but we certainly can’t wait to see Sydney hit some people in the ring – and perhaps even hurt her competition at the cash register at the same time. If Christy can have 32 wins from KO in her career, Sydney can do that too!
