Sydney Sweeney keeps her knockers from getting knocked out in a shocking transformation for her gritty new boxing role.
The Euphoria star painfully tapes off her busty chest as she embodies female boxer Christy Martin in her new biopic, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

A source told RadarOnline.com that while Sweeney usually flaunts her famous figure in other roles, she endures the painful daily grind of tying them down for filming.
They said: “Sydney throws everything into what she sees as the art of acting, and has gone to great lengths to keep herself in shape for all her roles – including this one.”

The source added: “But unlike her other roles like Euphoria where her breasts were always proudly on display, this time she is in pain as they have to be taped down.
“It’s actually a very painful process and she feels the pain every day, but she thinks it’s worth it for the job.”

Sweeney has been open about her large breasts in the past, saying she felt “left out” because of her body.
She said that after her breakthrough in Hollywood, people were labeled as a “blonde bimbo,” but she refuted: “I’m an artist, I play characters. It makes me want to play characters that piss people off even more.”

Although she also admitted in high school that she wanted a breast reduction, she is now grateful that her mother, Lisa Sweeney, convinced her to go natural.

Sweeney stepped out of her more “type cast” roles and expanded her portfolio in a big way with her latest casting as Martin.
New photos captured earlier this week, the bombshell showed up in a completely unrecognizable look as she started filming in North Carolina.

Sweeney was spotted holding an umbrella while wearing a baggy gray T-shirt, which was tucked into a pair of loose, knee-length gray sweat shorts with stains all over.
The actress swapped her signature blonde locks for wavy, almost shoulder-length dark brown hair that matched Martin’s.

Sweeney kept her makeup minimal while chatting with crew members on set, continuing to hide her enviable curves.
Earlier in the day, the actress also hid her famous physique in a brown shirt, blue hoodie and sweatpants.

The upcoming film, directed by David Michôd, chronicles how Martin brought women’s boxing into the spotlight.
In 1996, the athlete defeated Deirdre Gogarty in front of a sold-out crowd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, landing him on the cover of Sports Illustrated later that year as “Lady Champ”.

While the Hall of Fame boxer made a name for himself through various TV appearances, Martin wasn’t exactly a “winner” behind the camera lens.
She was abused by her trainer and husband, James “Jim” Martin, who stabbed her several times and shot her in the torso in November 2010, leaving her for dead.
