‘Swat’ actor David Lim says that Shemar Moore spin -offs stitches

“SWAT” star David Lim express his disappointment that a spider is moving forward without involving him or most of his castats.
In recent years it has been a rocky way for the drama of law enforcement. CBS canceled “SWAT” after six seasons in 2023, but after a commotion of fans, the decision reversed and renewed the series for a seventh season. After season 7 started to be broadcast, the network decided to extend it again for a final cancellation after season 8. The serial final was broadcast on May 16 and two days later, Sony Pictures Television announced that it would produce a spin -off with the title ‘SWAT Exiles’. (Neither CBS nor any other platform has agreed to air it.) Series Leading role Shemar Moore is currently the only cast member connected to ‘exiles’.
That is not good with Lim, that officer Victor Tan played for all eight seasons of the CBS drama.
“I would lie if I said that the rollout of the new spider was not poking. It was difficult to see that it only announced two days after our final – without reporting the cast that helped to build SWAT from the first day,” ” He wrote in an Instagram message. “After 8 incredible seasons it felt like we were put aside when there could have been a moment of reflection and recognition – for the people who built this show, and for the impact it had so much.”
In his position, LIM also noted that the ‘moisture’ team to be renewed ‘swat’ for season 9: ‘We believed that we had more to give more stories. We wanted it for our crew, for each other, and for the newer faces that just came to us. It was not in the cards for all of us – and that’s okay. ”
Multiple members of the “SWAT” team support LIM. Actors Rochelle Aytes, Annie Ilonzeh and Niko Pepaj all wrote comments about support, just like writer and co-producer Ryan Keleher and guest stars Emily Alabi and Coby Ryan McLaughlin.
In an interview with VarietySony Pictures Television President said there is a chance that other “Swat” cast members will eventually participate in the spider -“it’s a universe. There is a clear world that we are investigating here. We are in a few weeks. We are still bringing it all together, but I think you can expect some of your favorites to be part of it. Anyway, it seems clear that Lim has not yet received a call – and production will start in August according to Pope.
The official logline for “SWAT Exiles” reads: “After a controversial mission goes aside, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson (Moore) is taken out of forced pension to lead a final Cheat-experimental swat unit that has a fun of the city in the city. Save the program that he made to who he is.”

I sat with everything that came out last week, and I just want to say this:
Being part of SWAT for the past 8 seasons has been one of the great awards of my life. I collapsed my heart to play brown – and even more than that, in the team and the friendships that we built on and from the screen.
What SWAT made special was not only the promotion or one character. It was the team. The bond. The comrading. The shared blood, sweat, tears and laughing that we gave to every episode. That effortless chemistry was there from the very first day that we came together for the pilot, and it made all 8 seasons.
I am proud of how we fought for a ninth season. We believed that we had more to tell, to tell more stories. We wanted it for our crew, for each other, and for the newer faces that just came to us. It was not in the cards for all of us – and that’s okay. We had a magical run and went in a high tone with those last two episodes.
I would lie if I said that the rollout of the new spider was not stinging. It was hard to see that it announced only two days after our final – without reporting the cast that helped when building SWAT from the first day. After 8 incredible seasons it felt like we were set aside when there could have been a moment of reflection and recognition – for the people who built this show, and for the impact it had so much.
I have seen the comments, the messages, the support – and it really means a lot. I may not know what the future has in store for Tan, but I cannot be more proud of what we have made together – our cast, writers, producers, crew … our swat family. No version of this story can remove that.
Thank you for driving with us. Always.
Roll swat.
