A source said Us that day at the time of the incident, Reid was in Chicago for ComicCon, where some YouTubers “noticed” her at a Doubletree hotel bar. Reid “went outside for a cigarette and left a glass of wine at the bar,” the insider said, and when she returned, there was reportedly a napkin over her glass. Reid claimed she “never put a napkin over her glass,” the source said.
The source claimed that Reid “brought a few with him [of] sips and the next thing she remembered was waking up in the hospital, where Reid’s agent picked her up.
The American pie star subsequently filed a report confirming these details and adding more. She has since traveled home to Los Angeles.
“She’s really freaked out about the whole thing,” the source said Us last week.
