‘Summer I Turned Pretty’ Film set at Amazon Na Series Final

The story of the summer that I was is not over yet. Amazon Prime Video officially has a feature film Greenlit that will close the story of the Hit YA series.

Exact plot details are under wraps, apart from the fact that it will continue the story of the series, which has just broadcast the final for the third and final season. The film is written by Jenny Han, who wrote the books on which the show was based and developed for television. The announcement was made during the final of the Red Carpet Celebration series in Paris, France.

“There is still a big milestone left in Belly’s trip, and I thought that only a movie could give it right. I am so grateful to the prime video for continuing to support my vision for this story and that I can share this last chapter with the fans,” said Han.

According to Amazon, the season 3 debut 25 million viewers worldwide within seven days after the launch. According to the official description, the show is a “a multigenerational drama that hangs on a love triangle between one girl and two brothers, the ever-evolving relationship between mothers and their children, and the lasting power of strong female friendship. It is a coming of age story about first love, first heart and the magic of that one perfect summer.”

Lola Tung leads the cast alongside colleague -castmembers, including Jackie Chung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Rachel Blanchard, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer and more.

Han serves as a co-showrunner next to Sarah Kucserka. Both are also executive producers together with Karen Rosenfelt as well as Paul Lee, Hope Hartman and Mads Hansen for Wiip. The series is a co -production of Amazon Studios and Wiip.
