StrictlyVC San Francisco is in less than a month

All good things come to those who wait. The first StrictlyVC of the year heads to San Francisco in less than a month on April 30 at the Sentro Filipino Cultural Center. And you won’t want to miss the new line-up of great speakers to underline the networking and fun of the evening. AI innovators and founders looking for funding will be particularly well served by the event’s discussions.
Who enters the stage
You can get a ticket right nowbut for those who haven’t been to a StrictlyVC event before and have already clicked on that link, let’s see what’s particularly exciting about this…
TDK companies president Nicholas Sauvage will kick things off after you get the requisite drinks and networking, as he makes the case for corporate VCs in a conversation with TechCrunch editor-in-chief Connie Loizos. Sauvage, who leads TDK Ventures’ $500 million effort to invest in early-stage startups, will explain what makes corporate VCs work differently and what founders need to know about what makes him stand out in an investment.

And hesitant founders should take note: Sauvage has led TDK to back 45 startups and three unicorns — Groq, Ascend Elements and Silicon Box — during his tenure. TDK will also host and sponsor this StrictlyVC event, giving participants plenty of opportunity to learn from and get some potential face time with their team.
Then we will proceed to a conversation with Campbell Brownformer CNN anchor and head of news at Meta, who has since made the transition to the startup scene as she strives to make AI platforms more reliable as more and more people turn to them for advice and information. She is now the co-founder and CEO of Forum AIand in the middle of the conversation about how to investigate, verify and enforce the veracity of the information provided by LLMs.

And those who are similarly part of the AI revolution will be excited to hear that Amjad Masadco-founder and CEO of Replit, also takes the stage to share his first-hand experiences in leading a revolution in the way software is constructed. The rise of vibe coding has changed the way many have been working, especially in the Bay Area, and that has also brought with it some powerful competitors like Anthropic and OpenAI. Anyone who wants a glimpse into the future of programming should join us and stay for Masad’s talk.
As if all that weren’t exciting enough, we have one more speaker to announce, giving you even more insights and expertise leading into the final round of networking and connecting that defines StrictlyVC’s true proof point. Some of the greatest minds and most well-connected members of the startup community participate in these events, and you can be a part of it by registering, so get your ticket today!
