Star could be charged in court

People are also wondering if Wendy and Eddie will be deported since they are both originally from Nigeria and have become naturalized citizens.

“They currently have no ICE detainees against them, and these days ICE is very proactive in initiating proceedings soon after an arrest,” a source recently told a media outlet.

However, regardless of their naturalized citizenship, a legal source noted that they could still potentially face deportation.

Judith Delus-Montgomery, an immigration attorney, said Wendy and Eddie’s case would generally not interest her.

“But this president [Donald Trump] and this government has indicated that they are going to denaturalize citizens if they don’t like what they’re saying, if they don’t like their politics… if they can find a way to do it, they will do it,” she said.

“These people [Wendy and Eddie] who have been to the White House have been pounding the pavement for Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. We see that [this administration] has the ability to go after whoever they want and make a mountain out of a molehill.”

She also noted that if the government were to review Wendy and Eddie’s citizenship applications and discover any problems, they could potentially lose their citizenship and be deported.
