Star Clippers Celebrates Record-Breaking New Ports of Call for Summer 2027 | News

The tall ship cruise line has announced 27 new ports of call in 7 countries for its summer 2027 Mediterranean sailing program – the highest number of new additions in the line’s history.

The new ports of call are Astypalea, Pighadia, Gavrio, Chania, Skyros and Parga in Greece; Çeşme, Datça, Kaş, Kekova and Fethiye in Turkey; Roses, Barcelona and Peñiscola in Spain; Menton in France; Trogir and Korčula in Croatia; and, in a brand new country for the sailing cruise specialist, the Albanian Sarandë

Shipowner Eric Krafft explains: “With the wind as a driving force, we can reach destinations where large cruise ships simply cannot reach. Twenty-four of the new ports in 2027 are completely new to us, demonstrating the remarkable capabilities our fleet offers.”

With some destinations returning after a multi-year hiatus, such as Symi and Kastellorizzo in Greece, this not only demonstrates the demand for a renewed program but also reflects the desire of the company’s new customers for these smaller, more unique ports of call.

The new destinations bring new sailings such as ‘Authentic Adriatic’ on board Royal Clipper (departing Venice on 12 June, 4 July and 7 August 2027, 7 nights from £2179pp), and ‘Eternal Cyclades’ on board Star Flyer (departing Athens on 26 June, 28 August, 25 September 2027, 7 nights from £1957pp)

The summer 2027 sailing program runs from April to November, with Royal Clipper, Star Clipper and Star Flyer also returning to some of the line’s most popular destinations, including ports along the Amalfi Coast aboard Star Clipper (departing Civitavecchia May 1, July 24, August 22, 7 nights from £1957pp) and ‘Yachtsman’s Paradise’ aboard Star Flyer (visit Skopelos and Poros and departs Athens on June 19 and August 14, 2027, 7 nights from £1957pp).
