The small city of Mississippi where the monster -hit film is “Sinners” has no cinema, which sucks for the townspeople who want to know what all Hubbub is about to … but that will change, TMZ has learned.
Here is the deal … Clarksdale, a city of around 15,000, has not had a cinema for years, which means that Peeps has to travel to the nearest big city for an hour – Memphis, Tennessee – to see a film … And that is a chores that most residents do not have to participate, even to see a cultural phenomen in the neighborhood of their own community.
The mayor of Clarksdale Chuck Espy Tells TMZ … The city is in conversation with Warner Bros. And there will be a special event, so that everyone who wants to see the film on the big screen will finally get the chance!

A few dates have been thrown around – but Mayor Espy tells us that it looks like the screening will happen on the JuneteENTH Holiday (that is June 19) under the stars on the football field of Clarksdale High School.
The screening will be a full-day event … that can contain a panel with some of the stars-as Michael B. Jordan And Wunmi mosaku – and director Ryan Coogler.
Plans for the local “sinners” who have showing have already reached a fever in the region … and Mayor Espy tells us that he anticipates an influx of fans from surrounding communities.
A studio surge that has been confirmed to American plans are underway … and she was in contact with Clarksdale to have the screening take place.
