‘South Park’ makers of refusing the Donald Trump penis

“South Park”-Makers Trey Parker and Matt Stone found the Comic-Con stage on Thursday evening, one day after the premiere of season 27 of their Smash Comedy Central Series, “Sermon on the” Mount “, made waves for recording both Donald Trump and” South Park’s “Paramount Corporate Parents.

The duo was asked if they received notes from the network during the episode – and Parker and Stone said that most of the debate was all about the animated Kleine Trump Penis of the episode.

Parker said, “It’s always like:” So we love the episode, “but that’s what happened. They are like:” Okay, but we’re going to fade the penis. ” And I am something like: “No, you’re not going to fade the penis.” ‘

Stone added: “We have monitored the penis.”

Parker noted that he told the network: “If we keep an eye on the penis, we will not fade it. And then that was a whole conversation for about four damn days. It’s a character.”

Opening a comic-con discussion devoted to Comedy Central’s “South Park”, “Beavis and Butt-Head” and “Digiman!,” The panel moderator addressed the response to last night’s episode. “We are sorry,” Parker said with a little sarcasm, so that a big smile of the crowd was evoked.

Later the moderator joked that he had a summons for the duo. “That’s fine, man, I’m ready,” Stone joked.

In the episode, who took on Trump’s preference for suing those who speak against him (and the decision of Paramount to arrange the legally questionable lawsuit of a Trump over “60 minutes”), the president is seen for sex of Satan. It also contained an in-depth clip-satirically labeled as one of the announcements of the public services that reported incoming paramount owner Skydance to give Trump-where Trump gets completely naked (“his penis is Teeny-Tiny, but his love for us is big”).

The White House has thrown the episode away: “This show has not been relevant for more than 20 years and is dependent on a thread with uninspired ideas in a desperate attempt to pay attention,” said White House spokesperson, Taylor Rogers Variety. “President Trump has realized more promises in just six months than any other president in the history of our land and no fourth show can derail the hot streak of President Trump.”

That ‘fourth speed show’ is clearly seen as a valuable real estate for Paramount, which has also concluded a rich new five -year agreement with Parker and Stone for only week (reportedly worth around $ 300 million a year for a total of $ 1.5 billion), including 50 new episodes of ‘South Park’ plus all seasons available for the first seasons of the show.

Earlier on Thursday, the FCC Skydance’s takeover of Paramount Global approved, where he released the way for that merger after Skydance agreed to eliminate diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and install a watchdog about CBS News. That was on top of the $ 16 million that Paramount Trump paid on the CBS new lawsuit, and the extra $ 16 million that Trump said that Skydance has agreed to pay through those ‘public service announcements’.

As part of the Skydance/Paramount merger, it was also confirmed that Paramount Global Co-CEO Chris McCarthy, whose supervision included Comedy Central, will leave the Mediaconglomaterate.

In addition to ‘South Park’, the Comedy Central Comic-Con panel also contained the new seasons of ‘Beavis & Butt-Head’ and ‘Digiman!’ – Together with makers/stars Mike Judge and Andy Samberg.

The makers were asked about their comedy influences – and both Stone and Judge called “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” – and noted that for the first time they discovered that British touched PBS.

“For me and Trey we met about Monty Python,” said Stone. “It’s no secret. That’s just the truth, and just in this day of PBS that cuts their financing, I have to say that I found so Monty Python. I mean, better or worse, it was on PBS in Colorado … that was the beginning and end.

Judge added: “Yes, Monty Python also for me. Monty Python came up when I was in Junior High in Albuquerque and, yes, PBS from all places such as Sunday evening.”

Asked for their process, Parker said that “South Park” is still being produced into air – which means that this week’s episode was sorted out just a few days ago.

“Even, as last weekend. I mean, only three days ago we were going there:” I don’t know people will like this, “said Parker.” We just change while we read things in the newspaper, such as: “Oh, okay, let’s put it in.”

Parker noted that ‘I promise this is true. We were in ‘South Park’ this morning and tried to find out what the show of next week will be. We don’t know at the moment. But that is how the show has always been. And because it is animated as it is, if we can sculpt it and form it … the more we learn about their schedule, it actually seems pretty similar. “

Responded “SNL” Alum Samberg: “That is crazy. Like, the stress we get at the end of our week and have to go live. I think it makes sense to make a story so quickly, much harder, both done.”

As for what more this season comes from ‘South Park’, Stone and Parker reminded the crowd that they have nothing on their whiteboard. For a promo that they produced a few months ago about the new season, they created a series of clips that were completely made up and will never be seen. However, is there no ideas? “Not politics,” Stone joked.

Asked for returning to “Beavis and Butt-Head” after a break, Judge said that he was “happy to do it again”, but needed a break after the original run. “Not to bash MTV or something, we had such an ugly relationship for a while,” he admitted. “We did way too much. We did more than 100 in a year, so there was no quality control. I think it’s great to do it and I was relieved that I was ready, but over the years, yes, I missed it a bit.”

Judge also revealed that over the years he has done a live “Beavis and Butt-Head”, and “I came close to wanting to do it.”

This includes keeping a casting session for a potential live promotion “Beavis”, just when the pandemic started. “I am open when something jumps,” he said.

Recently the viral “SNL” “Beavis and Butt-Head” ski with Ryan Gosling his attention. “Okay, that was pretty cool,” he said. “It made me laugh, so I don’t know. Maybe you never know!”

Asked for his film ‘Idiocracy’, which seemed to predict the political and social environment in which we now live, the judge noted that ‘it is a kind of mixed bag, because it is nice to call people a prophet, but then the reason they call you [isn’t] So great. “

At the end of the panel, Stone and Parker were honored with a Comic-Con International Inkpot Award for Excellence in Animation.
