SoftBank to invest $500M in robotics startup SkildAI
SoftBank is negotiating an investment of $ 500 million in Skild AIA software company that builds a fundamental model for robotics on a rating of $ 4 billion, reported Bloomberg and Financial Times.
The two -year -old company raised its earlier $ 300 million financing round at a rating of $ 1.5 billion last July from investors, including Jeff Bezos, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Coatue Management.
The AI model of the company can be applied to different types of robots, the founders of Skildak Deepak Pathak and Abhinav Gupta told WAN last July. They said the generalized model can be changed for a specific domain and use case.

In the past year, investors, in particular Bezos, have raised their financing to AI-driven robotics companies.
