SoftBank reportedly looking to launch a trillion-dollar AI and robotics industrial complex

Softbank starts all the way to AI.

Only a few months after the announcement of his involvement in the $ 500 billion Stargate AI infrastructure project, of which Softbank is said to be a cool $ 19 billion, the Japanese investing conglomerate is said to be looking for its largest AI project so far.

The company wants to collaborate with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) to launch an industrial complex in Biljoen Dollar in Arizona to build AI and robotics, according to Report from BloombergWith reference to sources that are familiar with the project.

The initiative, called Project Crystal Land, seems to be in the very early stages. Despite the wish of Softbank to work on the project with TSMC, it is unclear what the role of TSMC would be, according to Bloomberg, or whether it would be interested in joining forces with Softbank – TSMC has all its own AI infrastructure projects in Arizona in the works.

Softbank refused to comment.
