Snoop and Dre performed together in London for the first time in 30 years.

Today, some would argue that the songs wouldn’t achieve the same commercial success — but Snoop and Dre aren’t worried about modern cancel culture impacting their legacy.

In a recent interview, Snoop acknowledged that he is a different person than when he worked with Dre on the albums.

The 52-year-old said: “Yes, I am more mature.”

Snoop said he and Dre avoid being canceled because they are “the culture.”

Snoop continued, “I have a bigger fan base, I’m smarter and sharper now. And I’m grateful to have someone like him who really helps with the writing, because I was stuck.”

Dre further emphasized that he and his longtime collaborator are also “not followers” when it comes to other business ventures. The pair collaborated on a canned cocktail line – Gin&Juice – but unlike other celebrities, they don’t rely solely on their names to promote the drink.

The music producer said, “We didn’t just put our faces and our names on a product. We went to the lab and the whole s— and made everything from the bottom up.”

Together, the men believed their success was limitless, even in an ever-changing culture.

Dre added, “If we all bring all of our expertise to the table, and if we’re together and we’re really on our s—, no one can work with us.”
