Snoop Dogg explains why he and Dr. Dre will never be canceled

Fan favorite Snoop Dogg is convinced that he and Dr. Dre will never be canceled, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The California-born rapper reflected on the music mogul’s impact and how “culture” protects both men from being written off in an increasingly progressive world.

Snoop and Dre performed together in London for the first time in 30 years.
For the first time in thirty years, Snoop, 52, and Dre, 59, performed together in London. The duo is responsible for part of the the genre’s biggest hits of best-selling albums, including The Chronic, Doggy style And 2001.
While their collaborations are loved by music fans, there’s no doubt that the lyrics of the songs – produced over thirty years ago – contain many themes of violence and misogyny.

Dre and Snoop have collaborated on some of rap’s biggest hits on albums like ‘The Chronic’ and ‘Doggstyle’.

Today, some would argue that the songs wouldn’t achieve the same commercial success — but Snoop and Dre aren’t worried about modern cancel culture impacting their legacy.
In a recent interview, Snoop acknowledged that he is a different person than when he worked with Dre on the albums.
The 52-year-old said: “Yes, I am more mature.”

Snoop said he and Dre avoid being canceled because they are “the culture.”

Snoop continued, “I have a bigger fan base, I’m smarter and sharper now. And I’m grateful to have someone like him who really helps with the writing, because I was stuck.”
While the Drop it like it’s hot rapper admitted that he is “more mature” now, but he revisited the idea of changing his sound to meet modern standards.

The Young wild and Free singer told The Standard: “No way. No way we’re going to be cancelled, man. We are the culture. You can’t cancel culture.”
“It’s just a bunch of assholes you don’t know who just type and say you’re not that good anymore. But if you’re the culture, you dictate what the outcome of everything is. You don’t follow that s— you lead.”
Dre seemed to agree, raising a glass as Snoop added, “We are not followers.”

Dre further emphasized that he and his longtime collaborator are also “not followers” when it comes to other business ventures. The pair collaborated on a canned cocktail line – Gin&Juice – but unlike other celebrities, they don’t rely solely on their names to promote the drink.
The music producer said, “We didn’t just put our faces and our names on a product. We went to the lab and the whole s— and made everything from the bottom up.”

Together, the men believed their success was limitless, even in an ever-changing culture.
Dre added, “If we all bring all of our expertise to the table, and if we’re together and we’re really on our s—, no one can work with us.”
The celebrities are currently working together to promote Snoop’s new album – which Dre called “extraordinary” – which the Gin and juice According to the rapper, this is his “best work” yet.
