The in memoriam gesture comes less than a week after Reiner and his wife — Michele Singer Reiner — were found dead in their Los Angeles home. Their son — Nick Reiner — is now being prosecuted for first-degree murder be arrested in connection with their death.
Reiner hosted the third episode of SNL in 1975 during the show’s early days… and unlike the hosts George Carlin And Paul Simon at the time, he fully participated in the sketches…he helped define the style that would define the series forever.
As we reported, the couple’s daughter was… Romyis the one who discovered Rob and Michele’s bodies and called 911. She told police that her brother Nick was “dangerous” and should be considered a suspect.

Nick was arrested about six hours after police responded to the call. He is currently kept under suicide watch held without bond at the Men’s Central Jail in LA and awaiting his hearing on January 7.
We broke the news on Friday: he was diagnosed with schizophreniaand changes in his medications made him “erratic and dangerous” before he allegedly killed his parents.
