Smoke rises over Iran as Tehran ‘seeks regime change’

US President Donald Trump has confirmed that the US has launched “major combat operations” in Iran.

His comments came after Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said his country has launched a “pre-emptive” attack on the country.

The BBC’s Jon Donnison says he’s a projectile being shot down in the skies above east Jerusalem, as Trump looks for “regime change” in Iran.
