Singapore Airlines to launch non-stop services to Riyadh in June 2026 | News

Singapore Airlines (SIA) will launch four times weekly non-stop flights between Singapore and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in June 2026. The airline will operate the medium-haul variant of its Airbus A350-900 aircraft, which is configured with 303 seats in two cabin classes: 40 in Business Class and 263 in Economy Class.

Subject to regulatory approval, flight SQ498 departs Singapore for Riyadh on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays at 6:20 PM (local time). The return flight, SQ499, departs Riyadh for Singapore at 11pm (local time) on the same days. More details can be found in Appendix A.

Mr Lee Lik Hsin, Chief Commercial Officer of Singapore Airlines, said: “Our return to Riyadh comes amid the thriving business environment and ambitious development that makes it one of the Middle East’s most dynamic cities. In addition to a new destination, this service will enable us to work with our partners to offer our customers additional travel options across the region.”

Riyadh will become SIA Group’s second destination in Saudi Arabia, complementing Scoot’s four-weekly service to Jeddah.

Riyadh is the capital of Saudi Arabia and the administrative and financial center of the kingdom. Visitors can explore historic sites such as Diriyah and Masmak Fort, and enjoy attractions such as world-class museums, luxury hotels, and a wide range of shopping and dining options.

Subject to regulatory approval, tickets for SIA’s services in Riyadh will gradually go on sale through the airline’s distribution channels.
