Sharon Horgan to shine in, Exec to produce new HBO comedy about a separate

‘Bad Sisters’ Maker Sharon Horgan has concluded a two-year First-Look Deal with HBO, who also gave Horgan and its production company Merman a straight-to-series Order for a new comedy series in which she will write, Exec products and stars.

The new series with in the lead role, exec produced by and written by Horgan comes from her Merman Shingle. That label, launched in 2014, is behind ‘Bad Sisters’, ‘Motherland’ and his spin-off ‘Amandaland’, which was just launched at the beginning of 2025.
