Shaboo was not in accordance with a claim about the origin of country music Sunday evening – because fans clock his confusion immediately then Megan Moroney said that the Carter family stood behind the country music in 2025.
The duo handed out the favorite country duo or the group prize on the Amas of 2025 Monday when Megan started reading the Teleprompter, chat about how land was always part of the AMA history, when she said casually that the prize once went to folk music group -“that in fact Country Music.”
Shaboozey put that line in his spores he had a sharp side-eye and broke an uncomfortable grinning before he flowed through the rest of the nominees.
What made it extra uncomfortable was that Megan was serious dead and kept a total poker face all the time.

TBH, Shaboozey may have mixed the Carter family with Beyoncé‘s Crew – and to be honest, it seems that half of the internet is just as lost.
Iydk, the Carter family was folk music pioneers from late 1920s to the 40s whose songs and style had great country influences – so yes, that confusion is completely understandable!
