‘Severance’s’ Merrit Wever wins Emmy for guest actress in Drama

Merritt Wever has won the Emmy for guest actress in Drama for AppletV+S “Severance”.
This season her character will be revealed as the woman of Outie Dylan, Gretchen. She visits her husband’s innie at work during the second season.
We are already a two-time Emmy-winning actor and best known for her television work in much-praised series such as “Nurse Jackie”, “Godless” and “Incredible”.
The Creative Arts Emmys take place during two nights in the Peacock Theater in the center of Los Angeles.
In the night, “Severance” landed 27 nominations, including excellent production design and excellent operation.
Against the halfway between point on Saturday, “The Studio” was the top winner with five nods, including guest actor in a comedy series for Bryan Cranston. Julianne Nicholson won for guest actress in a comedy for HBO Max’s “Hacks”.
Presenter Maya Rudolph opened Saturday’s show with a shout-out for the artisans and crew members who dominate the creative art categories. “These are the real Emmy’s,” said Rudolph. “These are the Emmy’s for the people who let all magic happen.”
“Severance” dominated this year’s Emmy Derby with 27 nodding, while Apple’s first -year comedy “The Studio” was at the top of the comic race with 23. HBO’s “The Penguin” dominated the field with limited series with 24.
In the category Character Voice -Over/Short Form performer, Julie Andrews landed a nomination for her work on the Netflix series “Bridgerton” as the voice of Lady Penelope. Last year’s winner, Maya Rudolph, once again gained a nomination for her work as Connie the Hormone Monstress on ‘Big Mouth’.
Last month, the television academy unveiled the winners of the 77th Emmy Awards in its highly specialized juried categories, in which striking performance in animation, costume, emerging media programming and motion design were celebrated.
Beyonce took the Emmy home for excellent costumes for variety, non -fiction or reality programming. The Superstar shares design credit alongside Shiona Turini, with an extensive creative team that brings the vision to life. Netflix’s “Arcane” insured two awards, with Bruno Couchinho recognized for background design in the episode “The Dirt Under Your Nails” and Faustine Dumontier honored for her color artist in “The Message Hidden in the pattern.”
Highlights of the two Creative Arts Emmy Awards -Ceremonies will be broadcast on 13 September at 8 p.m. PT on FXX.
