Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs promises to flee America if they are acquitted

Just before Combs left the courtroom on Tuesday morning, the singer stopped to talk to his mother, Janice, who was in the gallery.

Combs bent over and whispered to his mother, tried to calm her down and reassure her while he was led back to a cell.

“Just relax, it will be fine,” he said, adding that he loved her outfit.

It was one of the few times that combs spoke during his trial. At the end of last week, Combs lawyers rested their case in less than half an hour, where the defense chooses not to call witnesses to the stand.

Finally, Combs gave the opportunity witnesses in his own defense. He only spoke briefly towards the end of the testimony to confirm his decision, when Judge Subramanian asked how he was doing.

Combs replied that he was good and the judge said, “You are doing an excellent job.”

When asked if he would like to take the position, Combs said no.

“That is my decision, lender,” he said.
