Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ Mother Explodes On Netflix, Denounces Shocking Claim

In a statement released on Saturday, December 6, the 80-year-old matriarch condemned Netflix’s portrayal of her son’s early family life and emphasized that the project is full of distortions. “I am writing this statement to correct some of the lies in the Netflix documentary Sean Combs: The Reckoningreleased on December 2, 2025,” she said. “These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life were deliberately done to mislead viewers and further damage our reputation.”

She specifically focused on a scene with former Bad Boy director Kirk Burrows, who claims Diddy punched his mother after the deadly 1991 City College event. “Mr. Kirk Burrows’ allegations that my son punched me while we were talking after the tragic events at City College on December 28, 1991 are inaccurate and clearly falseshe said.

Janice called the tragedy “a very sad day for all of us” and accused Kirk of exploiting the incident for personal gain. “For him to use this tragedy and include false stories to further his past failed and current attempt to obtain what was never his, Bad Boy Records is wrong, outrageous and historically offensive.”
