‘Scream, Pretty Peggy’ actor was 78

Sian Barbara Allen, the actor known for countless television rolls and her leading role in “Scream, Pretty Peggy” next to Bette Davis, died on Monday in Chapel Hill, NC
Allen’s death was confirmed Variety With the cause of death such as Alzheimer’s disease.
In the 70s and 80s all had countless roles in popular TV programs, including ‘The Waltons’, ‘Columbo’, ‘The Rockford Files’, ‘Hawaii Five-0’, ‘Gunsmoke’, ‘Marcus Welby, MD’ and ‘The Incredible Hulk’. Allen also wrote the episode “Just for Laughs” of “Baretta” in season 4.
In her film work, she played with countless stars, including Patty Duke, Rosemary Murphy and Richard Thomas in “Youll Like My Mother” (1972), Bette Davis in “Scream Pretty Peggy” (1973) and Gregory Peneck and Jack4). She also played Anne Morrow besides Anthony Hopkins in “The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case” (1976). All earned a Golden Globe nomination for the most promising new actress in 1973 for ‘Youll Like My Mother’.

Allen started her career after accepting a trade show for the Pasadena Playhouse. She studied at Peggy Feury as a member of the Journeyman program and was eventually hired as one of the last contract players of Universal Studios. She landed her first credit on the screen in the series “O’hara, US Treasury” (1971).
After her last credit on the screen in season 4 (1990), all left public life and concentrated on politics, family and creative writing.
All is survived by her daughter, Emily Fonseca, her two sisters, Hannah Davie and Meg Pokrass, her cousin, Miles Bond, Cousins Marcy, Mike and Mark Reuben and grandson Arlo Fonseca.
