São Paulo City Cash Rebate Sparks Early Wins, Equipment for 2025
The Spcine of Brazil, the film TV body of the city of São Paulo, delivers tangible results with its Cashfate program while preparing for its third edition later this year. The program requires minimum eligible expenditure of R $ 10 million ($ 1.8 million) for live promotion and R $ 7 million ($ 1.2 million) for animation. It is also mandatory that at least 20% of the expenditure takes place outside the capital of São Paulo, which supports regional development.
Negotiations are underway to renew the successful partnership of the city states, with the aim of “expanding the impact and attracting even more large -scale national and international projects”. Scapin says.
Spcine CEO Lyara Oliveira does not anticipate important structural changes in SPCINE Given their understanding of the sector, but notes: “Our challenge is to keep up with this momentum, grow together with the sector and to expand and diversify as the industry itself transforms.”
