Sabrina Carpenter stars in new musical ‘Alice in Wonderland’

Sabrina Timmerman is going to Wonderland… she’s going to star in and produce a movie based on Lewis Caroll‘Alice in Wonderland’… and she’s going to sing too.

The ‘Please Please Please’ singer will star in her first major studio film (the musical is from Universal Pictures). Lorene Scafaria writes and directs the film.

Lorene is best known for writing and directing ‘Hustlers’ Jennifer Lopez …as well as “Looking for a Friend for the End of the World.” She also wrote “Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist.”

Sabrina has released a successful seventh studio album, which earned her six Grammy nominations, and has been on her ‘Short n’ Sweet’ tour. She has acting experience, including in TV shows such as ‘Girl Meets World’ and films such as ‘The Hate U Give’ and ‘Emergency’.
