S4BT Acquires HotelHub to Become the Ultimate Global Business Travel Powerhouse | News

S4BT – Solutions for Business Travel, the European group comprising CDS, Goelett, CRC, TMS, SIAP, Methodica and Trevium expands its presence and becomes the largest global powerhouse for business hotel bookings with the acquisition of Travel Centric Technology, the London-based parent company of HotelHub, a hotel technology platform serving global travel management companies (TMCs).

The transaction marks a new phase of scale and ambition for the Group, expanding its geographic reach, deepening its involvement in key travel markets and increasing its technological capacity.

With the addition of HotelHub, S4BT now represents:

8 specialized business travel brands
More than $5 billion in annual hotel booking value (HBV)
More than 60,000 hotel bookings per day
Access to over 2 million properties worldwide
700 employees worldwide, 50% of whom are involved in technology and product development
S4BT is designed to provide TMCs, corporate customers and the broader business travel ecosystem with a single, trusted technology partner that encompasses sourcing, booking, customer service, payment, billing and financial control within a cohesive framework.

The acquisition of HotelHub enables the Group to deliver a fully integrated offering of business hotels to all TMCs.

Built on interoperable platforms and open APIs, S4BT offers TMCs and enterprises a powerful alternative to closed, vertically integrated hotel platforms. The open architecture allows partners to maintain control over distribution, economics and customer relationships, while having access to global content and advanced transaction capabilities.

“Our ambition is clear: to build the most integrated and technologically advanced business travel platform,” said Ziad Minkara, Founder and Group CEO of S4BT. “The acquisition of HotelHub is a decisive step in that direction. It takes S4BT into a new league, strengthens our position and establishes a solid presence in Britain. This is not an end point, but a foundation on which we will continue to invest, integrate and execute.”

Jay Virdee, CEO of HotelHub, added: “Joining S4BT allows HotelHub to accelerate its mission at a new scale. By combining our distribution technology with S4BT’s operational expertise and financial capabilities, we can deliver greater value to TMCs and their enterprise customers around the world.”

Alignment with S4BT’s long-term strategy

This acquisition accelerates the strategy defined at the launch of S4BT in 2025: to serve TMCs, corporate customers and the broader business travel ecosystem as a single technology partner covering the entire value chain – from booking to payment – in national and international markets.

The Group now delivers a fully integrated offering for business hotels that enables TMCs to challenge closed platforms while improving efficiency, transparency and performance. It also strengthens S4BT’s distribution reach and ability to manage hotel flows at scale across the US and key European markets, covering procurement through financial controls within one coherent framework.

Strategic contribution to the Group

HotelHub strengthens S4BT along structural dimensions:
Geography and market access – the platform expands S4BT’s footprint into the UK and strengthens its reach with major international TMCs.
Technological depth and R&D scale – the integration of HotelHub increases the Group’s engineering capacity, with 50% of employees now focused on technology and product development
Working closely with partners, using innovative hotel platforms to strengthen services and support long-term growth.
Value chain integration – HotelHub’s hotel infrastructure will be integrated with S4BT’s booking platforms, payment solutions and electronic billing capabilities, generating greater operational control and higher value for TMCs and corporate customers.
Innovation efforts, especially in AI-driven rate optimization, automated reconciliation and hotel performance intelligence, are expected to improve revenue quality and operational efficiency for TMC partners.
