If you want to come to this party, my friends would love to have you, without expectations. And he came,” she said remembered in a March 2003 interview.

Pedraza announced her husband’s death in a February 16 Facebook post.

“Yesterday we said goodbye to my beloved husband, dear friend and one of the greatest actors of our time. Bob passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by love and comfort,” she wrote. “To the world, he was an Academy Award-winning actor, a director and a storyteller. To me, he was simply everything.”
