Rob Lowe to shine in NBC Secret-Service Drama the Detail

Rob Lowe will play the leading role in a drama series about the detail details of the American president, who is currently in the making at NBC.
With the title ‘The Detail’, the Elite agents project will follow who serve the protective detail of the president while trying to balance life with professional duty while they protect and defend the nation against the following threatening threat, according to the official logline.
Made by writer and executive producer Jennifer Yee McDevitt (“Over The Moon”, “Goodbye Vitamin”, “Task Force Two”), the project is completed from UTV, a division of Universal Studio Group. Lowe will also serve as an executive producer.
If “the detail” is ordered to series, this would mark the return from Lowe to Scripted Broadcast TV after the conclusion of his five-season load-man Run on Fox’s “9-1-1: Lone Star” in February. With the fact that NBC is specific, the show would be the first time to count as a series, since “Parks and Recreation”, and his first NBC drama since Aaron Sorkin’s “The West Wing”.
In addition to ‘The Detail’ at NBC, Lowe has a Sitcom project in development at ABC called ‘The Ram’, which is said to be a ‘romantic comedy in the workplace in which Rob Lowe plays a daily sports host of Sports Talkshow that falls in for the new producer who has been brought to increase his ratings.’
Lowe is currently organizing and producing the FOX game show “The Floor” and leads the fourth season of his hit -interview podcast, “Literally! With Rob Lowe.” Then Lowe will play the leading role in the horror film ‘The Third Parent’, alongside Crispin Glover, and serves as a producer. Moreover, he just wrapped the production on the indie -dark comedy ‘The Musical’, alongside Tony Award winner Will Brill and Gillian Jacobs.
He is being reputed by WME, Brillstein and Latham & Watkins.
McDevitt is being reputed by Rise Management and Lighter, Grossman, Nichols, Feldman, Rogal, Shikora & Clark.
