Reason why Prince Louis goes wild during balcony appearances revealed

Sources told us that a hidden tech setup on the palace balcony allows the royal family to watch the scene in real time, including seeing themselves on screen – a hidden detail that insiders say encourages Louis’ playful performances in public as he plays his own image.

The royal family gathers on the balcony of Buckingham Palace several times a year, most notably during Trooping the Color every June, when King Charles, 77, leads the celebrations to mark his official birthday.

The balcony is also used for important moments such as coronations, anniversaries, VE Day anniversaries and military fly-pasts.

Prince William, 43, and Princess Kate, 44, often appear alongside their children Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, as well as the excitable Louis, with the youngest regularly drawing laughter from onlookers below.
