Rayse is expanding the platform with new housing seller tools

Rayse, originally focused on transactions to the buyer and now offers agents a way to document their work behind the scenes and to share it with sellers via a centralized platform.
“Our mission has always been to raise the role of the agent and to give them the tools to clearly communicate their value,” said James Dwiggins, co-founder and Co-CEO of Rayse. “This seller version is a natural next step, and the early answer is incredible. Agents now have one centralized place to log and share all activities – marketing, offers, updates – that keep customers informed and keep confident.”
The company says that the new platform of the seller has been developed in response to national data showing that many sellers underestimate the time and efforts involved in mentioning a house.
In a recent study commissioned by Rayse, 51% of the sellers said that they believed that their agent spent less than 20 hours on sale.
At the same time, 96% said it was important to receive real-time updates from their agent via text or app and 82% wanted visibility in what agents did behind the scenes.
It is remarkable that 64% said they would be willing to pay more for that level of transparency – with another 25% that indicates that they could.
The earlier platform of the company received attention after it had published a study showing that 46% of the buyers believed that agents spent less than 15 hours on their purchase. Rayse said that agents generally complete more than 200 tasks for 80 to 100 hours during a typical transaction.
Rayse is currently being hired by various real estate organizations, including five multiple listing services (MLSS) that represent more than 139,000 agents. Those MLSs commit themselves to covering the full costs of the platform for their members, the company said.
“Rayse transforms the way agents communicate their value,” said Andy Fegley, CEO of Phoenix Realtors. “Our members are pleased to have a tool that not only supports transparency, but also deepens the relationship between agents and customers during one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.”
The sellers -oriented module launches when Extra MLSS is preparing to offer Rayse to members in the coming months.
