To celebrate English Tourism Week (March 13 to 22), Ramble Worldwide is unveiling a collection of brand new guided walking holidays in Britain. From the sweeping shores of the North Yorkshire coastline and the breathtaking landscapes of Snowdonia, the Lake District and Peak District to the tranquil valleys of Cumbria and the intertidal beauty of Jersey, these new tours shine a spotlight on some of the extraordinary landscapes that are right on your doorstep.
In addition to new UK additions, Ramble is also expanding its popular Weekend Adventures portfolio, the range of UK and European short breaks launched last year for experienced walkers who are short on time but still looking for challenging, mountainous experiences. A further four high-impact escapes in spectacular mountain settings across Mont Blanc and the Alps have been released. There is now a choice of 17 weekend adventures.
Five new British walking holidays
The Allerdale Ramble (Grade 4) – 7 nights from £1,179
Set against the picturesque backdrop of the western Cumbrian Hills, the Allerdale Ramble is a relaxing yet rewarding journey through peaceful valleys, wooded lanes and rolling hills.
