Prince William’s annual salary revealed in new royal report

According to the June 2025 report, Prince William received a distributable surplus of $30.9 million during his second year as Duke of Cornwall.

“The Duke of Cornwall is entitled to the annual net income surplus of the Duchy. However, profits from the sale of capital assets are retained and reinvested within the estate to support long-term sustainability and future income,” the report said.

The amount covers the official, charitable and private expenses of William, Kate Middleton and their three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

According to an insider, William’s brother, Prince Harry, and his wife, Meghan Markle, are not happy with the new report.

“From where Harry and Meghan sit, the imbalance is striking,” the insider noted. “Every time they win a major commercial deal, the reaction is swift and hostile, with accusations that they are exploiting their royal status….”
