Prince William breaks the royal tradition with new ‘Forever’ at home

There are small renovations going on in the 328-year-old Georgian Mansion, which will go an important step further than the current house with four bedrooms in Adelaide Cottage, about four miles away on the Windsor Estate.

Forest Lodge comes with much larger facilities, because the spacious house with eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, a ballroom, a tennis court and a pond includes.

The current house of the family is so small that the structure has no guest rooms, because it is just enough for the prince and princess, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, to all have their own room.

The chosen arrangement was far away from the vast 20 room apartment of Prince and Princess of Wales in Kensington Palace in London, but the future king and queen wanted a more private life on the Windsor Estate, which is close to their children’s private school.

The modest size of Adelaide Cottage resulted in the fact that William and Middleton had no resident babysitter, and it is understood that they will continue their path in order not to have extra help with them in Forest Lodge, determined to maintain a normal possible family life.
