Former Royal Chef Darren McGrady has revealed that Diana thought the dish was too indulgent to order in restaurants, but insisted that it would be made at home. Harry, however, was less than enthusiastic.

A family source claimed: “Diana saw lobster thermidor as a special luxury, but Harry never liked it. He was always a picky eater with certain tastes, and seafood just didn’t speak to him.”

McGrady, who worked from 1993 until her death as Diana’s personal chef, explained that she would make a compromise by ensuring that her sons had alternatives.

Nutritionists greet lobster as lean, protein -rich and full of vitamins.

The same nutritionist noted that lobster remains a healthy option when easy is prepared.

She said: “Lobster is a lean source of high quality proteins and of course little fat, with all essential amino acids.
