President Donald Trump falls short of winning the Nobel Peace Prize

President Trump
Rejected by the Nobel Committee…
Peace Prize awarded to Venezuelan politician

President Donald Trump failed to win the Nobel Peace Prize, despite helping broker the recent ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas and lobbying for the prestigious award with his Republican base.
The Norwegian Nobel Committee has bypassed Trump and presented the prize to a Venezuelan politician Maria Corina Machado “for her tireless work to promote democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”
Trump’s representative Steven Cheungrejected the decision, writing on X that “the Nobel Committee has proven that they put politics above peace” by not recognizing Trump.
Cheung also said that Trump “has the heart of a humanitarian, and there will never be anyone like him who can move mountains with the sheer force of his will.”
Trump has been promoting himself for years as someone who should win the coveted prize, and lately he has stepped up his efforts with the help of his supporters.
Just this week, 47 people were credited with helping to end the Israeli-Hamas conflict in the Gaza Strip, and he also boasted about stopping wars around the world.
Trump’s loss to a Venezuelan leader comes at an interesting time… the prez is over order the army to blow up suspected Venezuelan drug traffickers in boats to stem the flow of illegal narcotics into our country.
Don’t worry Donald… there’s always next year.
