Pope Francis – The 266th Pope in the history of the Catholic Church- has died … The Vatican confirms.
“At 7:35 This morning the bishop of Rome, Francis, returned to the Father’s house. His entire life was dedicated to the service of the Lord and his church,” Cardinal Kevin Ferrell said in a statement on Monday.
Reports began to come up at the end of February that the Pope prepared for death after he was admitted to hospital earlier this month with double pneumonia. He was also treated for bronchitis at that time.
