Pilot figures for ‘The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins’: 13 million viewers

The first episode of “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins” has reached nearly 13 million viewers to date.

The pilot of the new Tracy Morgan-led sitcom debuted on NBC on January 18 and initially drew a whopping 5.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched comedy broadcast of the 2025-2026 broadcast season. The premiere took advantage of the NFL introduction, which aired immediately after NBC’s coverage of the playoff game between the Los Angeles Rams and the Chicago Bears. But interest in the show clearly goes beyond that: the new total, which takes into account delayed viewing on Peacock and other digital platforms in the 50 days since its premiere, represents an increase of more than 100% over its original audience.

The growth hasn’t stopped there. Episode 2 of “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins,” titled “Nittany Means Big,” is Peacock’s most-watched comedy episode of the 2025-2026 season to date, although an exact number of viewers is unknown.

The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins stars Morgan as a “disgraced former football star on a mission to restore his image with the help of award-winning filmmaker Arthur Tobin (Daniel Radcliffe),” according to the official description, which continues: “To earn back the admiration of his fans and the respect of his family, Reggie will also have to confront the ghosts of his past.” In addition to Morgan and Radcliffe, the cast includes Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way and Jalyn Hall.

Robert Carlock and Sam Means serve as co-showrunners and executive producers with Tina Fey, Morgan, Eric Gurian and David Miner. The series is produced by Universal Television,
